The Society is registered with the Ministry of Industrial Development, SMEs and Cooperatives. It is also registered with the Ministry of Environment, Solid Waste Management and Climate Change as an NGO for Environment. In addition, it is affiliated with the Mauritius Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Federation and the Mauritius Bio-Organic Cooperative Federation.

Desarokev was incorporated on 15 November 2010 and is located in Poudre d`Or Hamlet, a small village in the north east of Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean. Its activities are primarily agricultural and is actually in the business of pineapple cultivation.
